Interrogative punctuation is automatically added to a sequence of characters entered into a handheld device upon termination of the sequence, such as by double actuation of the spacebar, when the first word, or the first and third words at the beginning of the sequence or after a comma or semicolon, are indicative of an interrogatory.

Un point d'interrogation est ajouté automatiquement à une suite de caractères saisis dans un appareil portatif à la fin de ladite séquence, comme par exemple la double activation de la barre d'espacement, lorsque le premier mot ou le premier et le troisième mots au début de la séquence ou après une virgule ou le point virgule, constituent l'indication d'une phrase interrogative.
