HAIRSTYLING PREPARATIONS CONTAINING AMIDOFUNCTIONAL SILOXANES ABSTRACT A hairstyling preparation containing at least one anionic or nonionic organic polymeric film forming agent and a solvent. The improvement resides in incorporating into the hairstyling preparation as an ingredient thereof an amido- functional polysiloxane having an average of fifty to one thousand siloxane units per molecule with an average of one to fifty of the siloxane units per molecule being amide- containing siloxane units.
