The invention concerns a floor-covering panel wherein the rib (4), in cross section, comprises on its lower surface (11), and the lower lip (7) of the groove (5) on its upper surface, respectively a second raised part (20) projecting downwards and a second matching recess (21) shaped in such a way that the second raised part (20) of the rib (4) of one panel (1) is urged to be engaged in the second recess (21) of the groove (5) of an adjacent panel (1) when a panel (1) is rotated relatively to the other so as to form second means interlocking the rib (4) into the groove (5).
