ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method of suppressing infestations of ants. Firstly, locate an ant hill which is the source of an ant infestation. Secondly, place a layer of organic source materials in, on and around the ant hill. Thirdly, apply water on a periodic basis to the ant hill to keep the organic source materials moist. Growth of a wide range of microbial organisms is organically stimulated and the ant infestation is suppressed.
