Aseptic flavored milk compositions and processes for manufacturing aseptic flavored milk compositions that utilize temperatures of from about 35 to 65~F (2 to 80~C) . The process uses a unique blend of a stabilizing agent, comprising colloida 1 microcrystalline cellulose a thickening agent, and an additive in combination with typical flavoring agents and one or more other optional ingredients, such as sweeteners, vitamins, and minerals, to form a stable aseptic flavored milk composition, particularly chocolate milk, suitable for consumption as a food.

Compositions lactées aromatisées aseptiques et procédés de préparation de compositions lactées aromatisées aseptiques mis en oeuvre à des températures allant d'environ 35 à 65 ·F (2 à 18 ·C). Le procédé selon la présente invention repose sur l'utilisation d'un mélange unique constitué d'un agent stabilisant sous forme de cellulose microcristalline colloïdale, d'un épaississant et d'un additif en combinaison avec des arômes typiques et un ou plusieurs autres ingrédients éventuels tels que des édulcorants, des vitamines et des minéraux pour former une composition lactée aromatisée aseptique stable, en particulier du lait chocolaté, adaptée pour être consommée comme produit alimentaire.
