A medical filter (11) is constructed as a container with an interior volume in open fluid communication with a patient connection element (31) and a transport connection element (39). Filter support structure (13), mounted within the interior, is structured as a thin, perforated member (14) carrying hydrophilic filter medium (17). A first flow path directs spent dialysate from the patient across the surface of the filter medium (17) to the transport connection (39). A second flow path directs fresh dialysate from the transport connection (39) through the filter medium (17) and the perforated support structure (13) to the patient connection (31).
L'invention concerne un filtre (11) médical présente une construction de contenant dont le volume intérieur est en communication de fluide ouverte avec un élément (31) de connexion de patient et un élément (39) de connexion de transport. Une structure (13) de support de filtre montée à l'intérieur de ce volume présente une structure d'élément (14) perforé mince portant un milieu (17) filtrant hydrophile. Un premier trajet d'écoulement dirige le dialysat usé du patient à travers la surface du milieu (17) filtrant vers la connexion (39) de transport. Un deuxième trajet d'écoulement dirige le dialysat frais de la connexion (39) de transport à travers le milieu (17) filtrant et la structure (13) de support perforée vers la connexion (31) de patient.
