A dilation-drug delivery catheter (10) comprises a dilation portion (20) for dilating a stenosis and a drug delivery portion (50) for delivering antithrombolytic or antiproliferative, or any other type of medication, to the dilation site. The drug delivery portion (50) of the catheter (10) is located within the dilation portion (20), which can be retracted to reveal the drug delivery portion (50), after dilation. Occlusion balloons (58, 60) are preferably provided on the drug delivery portion (50) to isolate the dilation site during drug delivery.

Cette invention concerne un cathéter d'apport de médicament par dilatation (10), qui comprend une partie de dilatation (20) servant à dilater une sténose, et une partie d'apport de médicament (50), laquelle sert à libérer à l'endroit de la dilatation un agent antithrombolitique, un agent antiprolifératif ou tout autre type de médicament.
