Known structures of solid wood have horizontal layering of the beams. Due to the often not inconsiderable length of the walls, short pieces can only be used in the area of the windows and doors. Since however in forestry large amounts of thin lumber are formed for which there is no feasible use, and since the paper industry can only handle a fraction of this wood, it is proposed that solid wooden beams (2) are arranged vertically in the installation position of the prefabricated wall panel. Since the height between floors in buildings is usually only between 2.5 and 3 meters, short pieces which have only a corresponding length can be easily used for this purpose. The solid wooden beams (22) have at least one mortise (28) running in the lengthwise direction with a depth which is at least the width of the solid wooden beams (22) measured in the direction of the mortise (28). The growth rings of the beams (22) are cut by the mortises (28) such that the wood can "work" after installation of the solid wooden beams (22) in the prefabricated wall panel so that high stresses in the solid wooden beams (22) and consequently warping of the prefabricated wall panel are prevented.
