The invention relates to a method for producing a wooden body having an enhanced surface hardness. According to said method, an untreated wooden body is impregnated with an aqueous solution of A) an impregnating agent consisting of a 1,3-bis(hydroxymethyl)-4,5-dihydroxyimidazolidinone-2 modified by a C1-5 alcohol, a polyol or the mixtures thereof, and B) a catalyst from the group of ammonium salts or metal salts, organic or inorganic acids or the mixtures thereof. Said wooden body is then dried and hardened at a high temperature.
L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'un corps en bois à dureté de la surface améliorée, dans lequel on imprègne un corps en bois non traité d'une solution aqueuse comprenant A) un agent d'imprégnation constitué de 1,3-bis(hydroxyméthyl)-4,5-dihydroxyimidazolidinone-2 modifié par un alcool C¿1-5?, un polyol ou leurs mélanges et B) un catalyseur sélectionné dans le groupe constitué de sels d'ammonium ou métalliques, d'acides organiques et inorganiques ou de leurs mélanges. Puis ledit corps est séché et durci à haute température.
