A server (IS) of a telecommunications system comprising first means for connecting to a mobile communications system (2) which in turn connects to terminals (1) on a radio connection (Um), and second means for connecting to another telecommunications system (3) of the Internet type. According to the invention, the server (IS) is further arranged to receive commands from the terminals (1) and convert them into a format compatible with at least one of the protocols of the other telecommunications system (3); and to receive information from the direction of the other telecommunications system (3) and to convert it into a format compatible with at least one protocol of the mobile communications system (2).

La présente invention concerne un serveur (IS) d'un système de télécommunications comprenant un premier moyen lui permettant de se connecter à un système de communication mobile (2) lequel, à son tour, se connecte à des terminaux (1) par connexion radio (Um), et un deuxième moyen lui permettant de se connecter à un autre système de télécommunications (3) du type Internet. Selon la présente invention, le serveur (IS) est en outre agencé de manière qu'il reçoit des instructions des terminaux (1) et les convertit dans un format compatible avec au moins l'un des protocoles de l'autre système de télécommunications (3), et qu'il reçoit des informations provenant de l'autre système de télécommunications (3) et les convertit dans un format compatible avec au moins un protocole du système de communication mobile (2).
