The invention relates to a peripheral device comprising means for printing a sheet of paper, means for cutting said piece of paper and means for receiving instructions. According to the invention, the printing means comprise: a first print head (4) which ejects ink in order to print the text or drawings onto the sheet of paper (3) in accordance with the instructions received; a second ink-ejection print head (1) which ejects ink in accordance with the instructions received; ink, known as absorbent ink, which can penetrate deeply into the paper, said absorbent ink being disposed at the areas to be cut; and cutting means comprising a low-power laser (2) which emits a laser beam at a wavelength that is absorbed by the areas that have been inked with the absorbent ink (7), the power of the laser being sufficient such as to cut the sheet of paper at the inked areas and/or to remove part of the paper. The invention also relates to a computer system comprising the aforementioned device and to a method of creating documents or paper objects using said computer system.
L'invention concerne un dispositif périphérique comprenant des moyens d'impression d'une feuille de papier, des moyens de découpe de ladite feuille de papier et des moyens de réception d'instructions. Les moyens d'impression comportent une première tête d'impression (4) par éjection d'encre pour imprimer du texte ou des dessins sur la feuille de papier (3) en fonction des instructions reçues, une deuxième tête d'impression (1) par éjection d'encre pour éjecter en fonction des instructions reçues une encre, dite encre absorbante,capable de pénétrer en profondeur dans la feuille de papier, l'encre absorbante étant déposée aux endroits à découper, et les moyens de découpe comportent un laser (2) de faible puissance émettant un faisceau laser à une longueur d'onde absorbée par les endroits encrés à l'encre absorbante (7), la puissance du laser étant suffisante pour obtenir la découpe de la feuille de papier aux endroits encrés et/ou une ablation partielle du papier. L'invention concerne également un système informatique incluant ledit dispositif et un procédé de création de documents ou d'objets papiers utilisant ledit système informatique.
