A method for acquiring nuclear magnetic resonance measurements of a material uses a gradient tool. A modified CPMG sequence is used wherein the duration of the refocusing pulse is selected to maximize the SNR of the pulse echoes relative to a standard CPMG sequence in which the refocusing pulse has twice the duration of the tipping pulse.

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de procéder à des mesures de résonance magnétique nucléaire sur un matériau, ce procédé faisant intervenir un clinomètre. On utilise une séquence CPMG modifiée dans laquelle la durée de l'impulsion de refocalisation est choisie de manière à maximiser le rapport signal/bruit des échos d'impulsion par rapport à une séquence CPMG standard dans laquelle l'impulsion de refocalisation présente une durée équivalant au double de celle de l'impulsion de basculement.
