ABSTRACT A syringe used in DSA (Digital Subtraction Angiography) and PTCA (Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty) is provided with a syringe drive unit driven by a motor. The motor velocity is controlled by a hand-control or by a foot- control. The allowable ranges of control are preset in the control unit and displayed on a display unit together with the real control data. In the replenishment of the contrast medium in the syringe, the three-way cock is automatically controlled.
