A method for identifying a receiver in a hearing aid of the RITE (Receiver In The Ear) type comprises providing a hearing aid of the RITE-type, providing said hearing aid with a receiver, measuring the impedance of said receiver using said hearing aid, identifying said receiver as one of several predetermined receiver models on basis of said impedance measurement, and issuing a message regarding the result of the identification. The invention also provides a hearing aid and a system for fitting a hearing aid. The hearing aid may comprise the means for measuring receiver impedance.
La présente invention concerne un procédé d'identification d'un récepteur dans une prothèse auditive de type RITE ("Receiver In The Ear": Récepteur dans l'oreille) (1). Il se compose des étapes suivantes : mise à disposition d'une prothèse auditive de type RITE (1) en dotant cette prothèse d'un récepteur (10), mesure de l'impédance de ce récepteur (10) en utilisant cette prothèse (1), identification du récepteur (10) comme étant l'un des modèles de récepteurs prédéterminés sur la base de la mesure d'impédance, et envoi d'un message concernant le résultat de la mesure d'impédance. Cette prothèse auditive pourra comprendre les moyens de mesure de l'impédance du récepteur.
