In order to reliably lock an electric plug and socket assembly comprising an outer part and an inner part which can be coupled to the outer part, the inner part is provided with a recess into which, when the two parts are coupled, a snap-on hook means is engaged and maintained so as to act as a spring. When the plug and socket assembly is in a locked position, the snap-on hook means or each snap-on hook means is locked against radial excursion since it rests on a bushing which is axially displaceable on the outer part. In the unlocked position, the backward pulled bush releases the snap-on hook means thereby allowing for disengagement of the outer and inner parts. In order to enable the plugging of the parts when the bushing is in the locked position, the snap-on hook means is provided with two spring legs whose end cam and an inner contour running into the recess of the inner part form a guide for the two leg snap-on hook means.

Pour qu'il soit possible d'obtenir un verrouillage fiable d'un ensemble de raccordement électrique mâle et femelle (1) comportant une partie extérieure (2) et une partie intérieure (3) pouvant être accouplée à celle-ci, cette partie intérieure présente un évidement (17, 17') dans lequel, lorsque ces deux parties sont accouplées, vient se bloquer un crochet d'encliquetage (14, 14') maintenu de façon à faire ressort. Lorsque l'ensemble de raccordement mâle et femelle (1) est en position verrouillée, le ou chaque crochet d'encliquetage (14) est bloqué de façon à ne pas pouvoir dévier radialement, étant donné qu'il repose sur une douille (7) pouvant être déplacée axialement sur la partie extérieure (2). En position de déverrouillage, la douille (7) ramenée en arrière libère le crochet d'encliquetage (14, 14'), permettant ainsi le désaccouplement des parties (2, 3). Afin qu'il soit possible d'assembler par enfichage les parties (2, 3) lorsque la douille (7) est en position de verrouillage, le crochet d'encliquetage (14') présente deux branches faisant ressort (14c) dont la came (14'a) d'extrémité et un contour intérieur (41) débouchant dans l'évidement (17') de la partie intérieure (3) forment un guide pour le crochet d'encliquetage (14') à deux branches.
