Disclosed are herbicide combinations containing an active moiety of components (A) and (B). Component (A) represents one or several herbicides of formula (I) or the salts thereof, wherein R1 represents H or a group of formula CZ1Z2Z3, Z1, Z2, and Z3 being defined as indicated in claim 1, R2 and R3 each represents H, alkyl, haloalkyl, alkenyl, haloalkenyl, alkinyl, haloalkinyl with up to 4 C atoms, respectively, or acyl, R4 represents H, (C1-C6)alkyl, or (C1-C6)alkoxy; R5, R6, R7, and R8 each represents H, (C1-C4)alkyl, (C1- C3)haloalkyl, halogen, (C1-C3)alkoxy, (C1-C3)haloalkoxy, or cyano; A represents CH2 or O or a direct bond, while component (B) represents one or several herbicides from the group of compounds comprising (B1) herbicides that are effective on the ground and are suitable particularly for preemergent application against monocotyl or dicotyl weeds, (B2) herbicides which are effective on leaves and are suitable especially for postemergent application against monocotyl or dicotyl weeds, and (B3) herbicides that are effective on the ground and on leaves and are suitable above all for preemergent or postemergent application against monocotyl or dicotyl weeds. The inventive herbicide combinations are used for controlling weeds.
