The invention provides a method of packaging an aqueous liquid whereby a charge of the liquid is charged through a closable opening into acontainer. A source of inorganic ions which are soluble in the liquid is also inserted into the container. The opening is then closed to retain the liquid and the source in the container. There is also provided a liquid pack comprising a container having a closable opening and an aqueous liquid in the container. A source of inorganic ions in the container contacts the liquid, the ions being soluble in the liquid and the source comprising a carrier for said ions of solid material insoluble in the liquid and having said ions sorbed thereto. The invention also provides a device comprising said source and a receptacle in which it is held captive.

L'invention concerne un procédé d'emballage de liquide aqueux, consistant à introduire une charge de liquide dans un récipient par l'intermédiaire d'une ouverture refermable. Une source d'ions non organiques dissous dans le liquide est également introduite dans le récipient. L'ouverture est ensuite refermée afin de retenir le liquide et la source dans ledit récipient. L'invention concerne également un emballage de liquide constitué d'un récipient possédant une ouverture refermable, et renfermant un liquide aqueux. Une source d'ions non organiques placée dans le récipient est en contact avec le liquide, les ions étant solubles dans ledit liquide. Cette source comprend un support d'ions en matériau solide insoluble dans le liquide, les ions étant sorbés à partir de ladite source. L'invention concerne enfin un dispositif comprenant une source et un réceptacle la retenant captive.
