Liquid plant spray is pumped at high pressure through one or more atomisers (28) to produce a mist having a small droplet size, i.e. between 5 and 60 microns. The spray may be pumped to the atomisers through a hose (24) of nylon or other material which induces an electrostatic charge in the droplets.
