The present invention concerns copolymers, a process for their preparation and their use in producing ionic conduction materials. According to the invention, the copolymer consists of monomer units of formula -CH2-O-CHR-CH2-O- (I) and monomer units of formula -CH2-CHR'-O- (II) in which: R is a hydrogen atom, a linear or branched alkyl radical having 1 to 8 carbon atoms or a CH3(-O-CH2-CH2)n-O-CH2- radical in which 1 <= n <= 10; R' is an aliphatic radical showing insaturation capable of undergoing polymerization by the radical route and inert in cationic polymerization conditions. Said copolymers can be obtained by cationic polymerization of suitable oxirane and dioxolane. Application in the production of ionic conduction materials.

Un copolymère selon l'invention est constitué par des unités monomères répondant à la formule -CH2-O-CHR-CH2-O- (I) et des unités monomères répondant à la formule -CH2-CHR'-O- (II) dans lesquelles: R représente un atome d'hydrogène, un radical alkyle linéaire ou ramifié comportant de 1 à 8 atomes de carbone ou un radical CH3(-O-CH2-CH2)n-O-CH2-, dans lequel 1 Í n Í 10; R' représente un radical aliphatique présentant une insaturation polymérisable par voie radicalaire et inerte dans les conditions de polymérisation cationique.
