The present invention concerns a new compound derived from ruthenium, with formula (l), known as pentamyn ruthenium complex, [3-(2-phenantren-9-il-vinyl)pyridine] and use thereof as an electrochemical indicator of hybridation in a method for the detection of hybridation from sequences of nucleic acids, for the quantification of said sequences, and also as the detection of the presence of an unmatched base and the position thereof within a sequence of nucleic acid.

L'invention concerne un nouveau composé dérivé du ruthénium, représenté par la formule (I), désigné sous le nom de complexe de pentamine ruthénium [3-(2-phénantrène-9-il-vinyl)pyridine], ainsi que son utilisation comme indicateur électrochimique d'hybridation dans une méthode de détection d'hybridation entre des séquences d'acides nucléiques, pour la quantification desdites séquences, ainsi que la détection de la présence d'une base désappariée et sa position dans une séquence d'acide nucléique.
