A method for preventing or controlling viral diseases of plants, characterized in that a compound having a peroxidase inducing activity in a plant is brought into contact with a plant; and a formulation for preventing or controlling viral diseases of plants, comprising as the active ingredient a compound having a peroxidase inducing activity, for example, a benzoic acid derivative or a salt thereof, such as 4-hydroxybenzohydrazide, or a compound having a furan ring or a salt thereof, such as 2-pyromucic acid.
Cette invention concerne un procédé permettant de prévenir ou de freiner la progression de maladies virales chez les végétaux. Ce procédé fait appel à un composé qui comprend une peroxydase induisant l'activité chez une plante, et qui est mis en contact avec cette plante. Cette invention concerne également une formulation permettant de prévenir ou de freiner le développement de maladies virales chez les végétaux, laquelle formulation comprend un composé qui contient une peroxydase inductrice d'activité. Ce composé peut par exemple consister en un dérivé d'acide benzoïque ou en un sel de ce dernier ou, encore, en un composé possédant un anneau furane ou en un sel de celui-ci tel qu'un acide 2-pyromucique.
