Method for chain drive, whereby the chain, such as a transmission chain, conveyor chain and/or like, is formed of several shaped pieces (1), that are connected to each other one after another at jointing points (N) by means of joint pins, and that is being driven by means of a wheel arrangement, that includes at least one chain wheel (7), such as a drive wheel, a turning wheel or the like. Particularly wearing of the chain, that is due to bending of the chain essentially along the longitudinal direction (p) of the joint pins, is being minimized by taking advantage of joint pins (x), the cross section of which changes in the longitudinal direction (p). The invention also relates to chain functioning according to the method.
Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé d'entraînement par chaîne, dans lequel la chaîne qui est constituée par exemple par une chaîne de transmission, une chaîne d'appareil transporteur et/ou autre chaîne similaire est formée de plusieurs pièces façonnées (1), qui sont reliées entre elles l'une à la suite de l'autre au niveau de points de jonction (N) par des chevilles de charnière, cette chaîne étant entraînée au moyen d'un système de roues, qui comprend au moins une roue à chaîne (7), telle qu'une roue d'entraînement, un volant ou similaire. Il est possible en particulier de réduire au minimum l'usure de la chaîne, qui est due à la courbure de la chaîne essentiellement dans le sens longitudinal (p) des chevilles de charnière, en tirant profit de ces chevilles de charnière (x), dont la section transversale change dans le sens longitudinal (p). Cette invention se rapporte également à une chaîne fonctionnant selon ce procédé.
