An expansion curb (10) assembly includes one or more preformed component structures fabricated from a non- corrosive, durable material. Each of the component structures include an anchoring flange (12) for attachment to the roof structure (22), an upper flange (14) defining a mounting base for attachment of various roofing components, such as expansion joint covers (60) and an intermediate portion (16) between the anchoring flange (12) and the upper flange (14). The intermediate portion (16) is provided with vent holes (32) for venting gases and moisture which accumulate within the roof structure (22) thereby reducing the likelihood of premature roof failure.
Bordure de joint d'expansion (10) comprenant un ou plusieurs éléments préformés et fabriqués en un matériau durable non corrosif. Chacun de ces éléments est composé d'une bride d'ancrage (12) conçue pour être fixée à la toiture (22), d'une bride supérieure (14) définissant une base de montage servant à fixer différents éléments de la toiture, tels que des couvre-joints d'expansion (60), ainsi que d'une partie intermédiaire (16) située entre la bride d'ancrage (12) et la bride supérieure (14). Cette partie intermédiaire (16) est pourvue d'orifices de ventilation (32) servant à ventiler les gaz et l'humidité s'accumulant à l'intérieur de la toiture (22), ce qui limite les risques de détérioration prématurée.
