The present invention provides a novel treatment for allergy comprising the provision of a recombinant DerP1/ProDerP1 allergen derivative with hypoallergenic activity. Pharmaceutical compositions comprising said mutant allergens which stimulate a Th1-type immune response in allergic or naïve individuals thereby reducing the potential for an allergic response upon contact with the wild-type allergen, are also provided.
La présente invention concerne un nouveau traitement de l'allergie faisant intervenir un dérivé d'allergène DerP1/ProDerP1 recombiné présentant une activité hypoallergénique. L'invention concerne également des compositions pharmaceutiques renfermant lesdits allergènes mutants et stimulant une réponse immunitaire de type Th1 chez des personnes allergiques ou naïves, d'où une réduction du potentiel de réponse allergique après un contact avec l'allergène de type sauvage.
