A surface-coated vessel or a surface-coated product having a hard coating layer is obtained, by coating a 6ubstrate of, for example, resin product with a resin composition for hard coating which comprises (a) a poly[(meth)acryloyloxyalkyl] (iso)cyanurate represented by the following general formula (1) or (2): Image ... (1) Image ... (2) wherein X1, X2 and X3 are each an acryloyl group, methacryloyl group, hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, with a proviso that at least two of them are (meth)acryloyl groups, and R1, R2 and R3 are each an oxyalkylene group or a polyoxyalkylene group; (b) a poly(meth)acrylated polyoxyalkane polyol; (c) a photopolymerization initiator consisting of 2-methyl-1-[4-(methylthio)phenyl]-2-morpholino-1-propan- one; (d) a photopolymerization initiator based on thioxanthone; (e) a UV-absorber based on monohydroxybenzophenone; (f) an organic solvent. Such surface-coated coated products and vessels have a hard coat which is more excellent than that of the prior art especially in the curing characteristics, such as the rate of curing etc., as well as in the coating properties, such as surface hardness, fastness to scratch and abrasion, flexibility, surface gloss, heat resistance, fastness to solvents and to alkali, weather resistance and tight adhesion onto substrates, so that they can constitute reclamable coated products in a form of, for example, returnable bottles. 4 6
Matériau ou récipient recouvert d'un film de revêtement durci, que l'on obtient en recouvrant la surface d'un substrat en résine ou analogue d'une composition de résine de revêtement durcissable comportant (a) un poly[(méth)acryloyloxyalkyle](iso)cyanurate de formule générale (I) ou (II) dans lesquelles X?1¿, X?2¿ et X?3¿ sont chacun (méth)acryloyle, hydrogène ou alkyle (au moins deux d'entre eux étant (méth)acryloyle), et R?1¿, R?2¿ et R?3¿ sont chacun oxyalkylène ou polyoxyalkylène), (b) un poly(méth)acrylate de polyoxyalcanepolyol, (c) 2-méthyle-4-(méthyltio)phényle]-2-morpholino-1-propanone en tant qu'initiateur de photopolymérisation, (d) un initiateur de photopolymérisation thioxanthone, (e) un absorbeur d'ultraviolets monohydroxybenzophénone et (f) un solvant organique. Le matériau et le récipient dotés dudit revêtement sont supérieurs à ceux de la technique antérieure pour ce qui est des caractéristiques de polymérisation et de celles présentées par le film de revêtement durci, constituant ainsi un matériau ou récipient à revêtement réutilisables.
