Abstract The measuring circuit, having two connecting terminals (1) for one phase of the load current and a current sensor connected thereto, is designed in the form of a flat module (M). The two connecting terminals (1) are arranged one above the other on one of the end faces of the module. This leads to a significant reduction in the meter width and to a reduction in the production costs, since these modules are also used for multi-phase meters, in a correspondingly increased quantity. (Fig- 2)
