The present invention provides a condensed furan compound of the formula (I): (see formula I) wherein Ring X is benzene, pyridine, or the like; Y is an optionally substituted amino, an optionally substituted cycloalkyl, an optionally substituted aryl, an optionally substituted saturated heterocyclic group, an optionally substituted unsaturated heterocyclic group; A is a single bond, lower alkylene, lower alkenylidene, lower alkenylene or an oxygen atom; R3 is hydrogen or the like; and, R4 is hydrogen, or the like, or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, which is useful as a medicament, particularly, as an activated blood coagulation factor X inhibitor.

L'invention concerne un composé de furane condensé, représenté par la formule (I) (dans laquelle le noyau X représente benzène, pyridine, etc. ; Y représente amino éventuellement substitué, cycloalkyle éventuellement substitué, aryle éventuellement substitué, un groupe hétérocyclique saturé éventuellement substitué ou un groupe hétérocyclique insaturé éventuellement substitué ; A représente une liaison simple, alkylène inférieur, alcénylidène inférieur, alcénylène inférieur ou oxygène ; R<1> représente hydrogène, halogéno, etc. ; R<3> représente hydrogène, etc. ; et R<4> représente hydrogène, etc.). L'invention concerne aussi un sel pharmaceutiquement acceptable du composé, ledit composé et ce sel étant utiles comme médicament, notamment comme inhibiteur du facteur X de la coagulation sanguine activé.
