The human body is decorated with highly detailed, multicolored, personalized designs using inkjet or similar printing technology. The designs are applied to the epidermal and upper dermal skin layers and last for at least several weeks. The decoration is produced by a print head comprising an array of inkjet nozzles, which spray biocompatible inks or dyes onto the skin. The print head and nozzle array may be large enough to cover the entire design area, or the print head can be connected to a scanning mechanism to scan in one, two, or three directions. The decorations can be applied to highly contoured skin surfaces. A computer stores the desired design and controls the firing of nozzles to produce the desired decoration or tattoo.
La présente invention concerne la décoration du corps humain par des dessins très détaillés, polychromes et personnalisés. On a recours à cet effet à une technologie d'impression de type jet d'encre ou similaire. Ces dessins, appliqués sur les couches épidermiques et dermiques supérieures de la peau, ont une durée de vie d'au moins plusieurs semaines. Pour réaliser cette décoration, on utilise une tête d'impression dont les buses à jet d'encre en matrice pulvérisent des encres ou des teintures dermatologiquement biocompatibles. La tête d'impression et la matrice de buses peuvent être d'assez grandes dimensions pour couvrir la totalité de la surface du dessin. Mais également, la tête d'impression peut être connectée à un mécanisme de balayage capable d'un balayage selon un, deux ou trois axes. L'application de ces décorations peut se faire sur des surfaces cutanées aux reliefs complexes. De fait, c'est un ordinateur dont la mémoire dispose des dessins souhaités qui commande la pulvérisation par les buses de façon à produire la décoration ou le tatouage souhaité.
