The invention relates to a surface treating installation, especially for treating plastic parts or automotive bodies, which comprises a transfer station (24, 25) for vertically or horizontally transferring an object (12). Said transfer station comprises a stationary support structure (34), a carriage (40) which can travel in relation to the support structure (34) and receives an object (12), and at least one guide roller (64, 66, 68, 70; 70~; 70~~) via which the carriage is supported on the support structure (34). The at least one guide roller has a rolling surface (118; 118~; 118~~) which contacts the support structure when rolling off. The invention is characterized in that the rolling surface of the at least one guide roller consists of an antistatic material whose volume resistivity ranges between 10 Om and 109 Om. The invention allows to counteract the deposition of dirt particles on the guide rollers and on the mating surfaces (12), thereby reducing time and/or costs required for cleaning the transfer station or for post-processing the objects.
L'invention concerne une installation de traitement de surface qui sert notamment à traiter des pièces en matière plastique ou des carrosseries automobiles et qui comporte une station de transfert (24, 25) servant au transfert vertical et horizontal d'un objet. Cette station présente une structure de support fixe (34), un chariot (40) pouvant se déplacer par rapport à la structure de support (34) et servant à recevoir l'objet (12), ainsi qu'au moins un galet de guidage (64, 66, 68, 70; 70~; 70~~) par l'intermédiaire duquel le chariot prend appui sur la structure de support (34). Le ou les galets de guidage présentent une surface de roulement (118; 118~; 118~~) qui vient en contact avec la structure de support pendant le roulement. Selon l'invention, au moins la surface de roulement du ou des galets de guidage est constituée d'un matériau antistatique dont la résistance transversale spécifique électrique est comprise entre 10 Om et 109 Om. Il est ainsi possible d'empêcher le dépôt de particules de salissures sur les galets de guidage et sur les faces correspondantes (12), ce qui permet de réduire le coût du nettoyage de la station de transfert ou du traitement ultérieur des objets.
