Image Image Image A securing tape (10) for securement to a foreign body (14) including an elongated tape having first (13) and second (12) sides, a base portion (11) on the tape, adhesive on the first side (13) of the tape for securing the base portion (11) to a foreing body (14), a tab (15) having a fixed end (17) and a free end (30) with the tab being formed by cutting it out of the tape while leaving the fixed end (17) integrally attached to the base portion, an opening (22) in the base portion (11) being formed in the location from which the tab was cut of the tape, an outer end (28) on the opening remote from the fixed end (17) of the tab (15), a relocating arrangement (29) for effectively relocating the free end (30) of the tab (15) and the outer end (28) of the opening (22) relative to each other to permit the free end (30) of the tab to be secured relative to the base portion (11), and securing structure (31, 33) for securing the free end (30) of the tab (15) to the base portion (11).
