A releasable post-cable connection includes a post having a top end extending above a ground level. The post having an internal cavity and a slot formed through a post face wall extending downward from the top end of the post in communication with the cavity and a hairpin connector carrying at least one cable and releasably mounted to the post. The hairpin cable connector includes an elongated section forming at least one loop adapted for disposing a cable, and a top section extending at an angle from the elongated member. The elongated section is substantially disposed within the cavity and the loop extends exterior of the cavity, and the top section hung on the top end of the post. When the post is impacted and urged toward the ground level the cable is released from the post.
L'invention concerne un raccord poteau-câble détachable qui comprend un poteau dont l'extrémité supérieure s'étend au-dessus du niveau du sol. Ce poteau présente également une cavité interne et une rainure réalisée dans la paroi avant du poteau, s'étendant vers le bas à partir de l'extrémité supérieure du poteau et communiquant avec la cavité et une attache en épingle à cheveux portant au moins un câble et installée de manière amovible sur le poteau. L'attache de câble en épingle à cheveux comprend une partie allongée présentant au moins une boucle apte à maintenir un câble, ainsi qu'une partie supérieure formant un angle par rapport à la partie allongée. La partie allongée est pratiquement placée à l'intérieur de la cavité, la boucle faisant saillie à l'extérieur de la cavité et la partie supérieure étant accrochée à l'extrémité supérieure du poteau. En cas d'impact entraînant le poteau vers le sol, le câble se dégage du poteau.
