In a method for providing information associated with the location of a target user in a location service arrangement comprising a plurality of location service entities a request for information associated with the location of the target user is sent from a first location service entity to a second location service entity and the second location service entity is informed of the role the second location service entity shall take when processing the request. The request is then processed according the role information provided at the second location service entity.
