A VCR sharpness up/down circuit controlled by a remote controller for allowing a remote control of VCR sharpness properly by pressing a sharpness-up key or a sharpness-down key on the remote controller with the construction of a sharpness driving unit and a screen control unit and control method thereof by receiving sharpness up/down key signals from the remote controller, counting the number of input up/down key signals, selecting and outputting PWM signals from the PWM data storage unit according to the counted number, converting the output PWM signals through switching operations to a sharpness driving control voltage which is a certain DC voltage, and applying a driving control voltage to an integrator which emphasizes a video signal.

'invention est un circuit de commande de netteté pour magnétoscope commandé par une télécommande portant deux touches de réglage de la netteté, l'une progressive et l'autre régressive; il utilise une unité d'attaque de netteté et une unité de commande d'écran. Il reçoit les signaux de commande de netteté transmis par les touches de la télécommande, compte le nombre de signaux produits par ces touches, choisit des signaux MIC dans l'unité de stockage de données MIC d'après le nombre des signaux de commande et transmet les signaux MIC choisis, puis convertit ces derniers, pour des opérations de commutation, en une tension continue de commande d'attaque de netteté qu'il applique à un intégrateur pour accentuer la netteté du signal vidéo.
