The inventive method for producing a metallised image on a sheet material consists in impregnating said material with a metal salts-containing solution and in exposing the specified material points to a pulse laser radiation. The interaction of said pulses with the solution within a laser spot initiates a photochemical reaction resulting in a metal ion reduction into the elementary state thereof by associating the required number of electrons and in the deposition of metallic film which is firmly fixed to the filler of the sheet material in the laser spot area on the material surface. In the case of the sufficient laser radiation power, a recess is formed on the sheet material surface and the metallic film is deposited on the bottom thereof. The inventive device for carrying out said method for producing a metallised image comprises means for impregnating the sheet material with the metal salts- containing solution and means provided with a laser pulse generator for fixing a metal to said sheet material, a unit for controlling the pulse intensity and a unit for focusing pulses to the specified points of the sheet material.
Selon l'invention, le procédé de formation d'une image métallisée sur du matériau en feuille est mis en oeuvre par son imprégnation avec une solution contenant des sels de métaux, suivie de son application sur des points déterminés du matériau avec des impulsions laser. Lors de l'interaction des ces impulsions avec la solution dans les limites du spot laser, une réaction photochimique se produit qui réduit un ion de métal jusqu'à un état élémentaire, avec l'adhésion d'un nombre requis d'électrons, et un film métallique se dépose dans la zone du spot laser à la surface du matériau. Ce film est fixé de manière sûre avec la charge du matériau en feuille. Si le rayonnement laser est suffisamment puissant, une cavité se forme à la surface du matériau en feuille, et un film métallique se dépose au fond de cette cavité. Le dispositif pour mettre en ouvre ce procédé de fabrication de l'image métallisée comprend un produit d'imprégnation du matériau en feuille qui comporte des sels de métaux et un produit pour fixer le métal au matériau en feuille, qui comprend un générateur d'impulsions laser, une unité de commande d'intensité desdites impulsions et une unité de mise au point des impulsions sur les points prédéterminés à la surface du matériau en feuille.
