Compounds of formula (I), wherein R1 is hydrogen or chlorine and R2 is hydrogen, C1-C8alkyl, or C1-C8 alkyl substituted by C1-C6alkoxy or by C3- C6alkenyloxy, can be prepared by: a) introducing the major portion of the amount to be reacted of a compound of formula (II) into a solvent mixture comprising at least one organic solvent capable of forming an azeotrope with water, and at least one aprotic-dipolar solvent; b) metering in an aqueous strong base in an amount equivalent to that major portion of the total amount of the compound of formula (II); c) adding the remaining portion of the amount to be reacted of the compound of formula (II); d) adding a weak base in an amount that is at least equivalent to that remaining portion; e) removing the water from the reaction mixture by azeotropic distillation; f) adding a compound of formula (III), wherein R2 is as defined for formula (I); and g) isolating the resulting compound of formula (I) from the reaction mixture.

L'invention concerne des composés de la formule I, dans laquelle R¿1? représente hydrogène ou chlore et R¿2? hydrogène, C¿1?-C¿8?alkyle, ou C¿1?-C¿8?alkyle substitué par C¿1?-C¿6?alcoxy ou par C¿3?-C6alcényloxy, que l'on prépare comme suit: a) introduire la majeure partie de la dose d'un composé de la formule II à soumettre à réaction dans un mélange de solvant comprenant au moins un solvant organique susceptible de former un azéotrope avec de l'eau, et au moins un solvant aprotique-bipolaire; b) mesurer une base aqueuse forte dans une dose équivalente à celle de la majeure partie de la dose totale du composé de la formule II; c) ajouter la partie restante de la dose du composé de la formule II à soumettre à réaction; d) ajouter une base faible en une dose au moins équivalente à celle de la partie restante; e) évacuer l'eau du mélange de réaction par distillation azéotropique; f) ajouter un composé de la formule III, dans laquelle R¿2? est comme défini dans la formule I; et g) isoler le composé résultant de la formule I du mélange de réaction.
