The invention relates to a method and a device for concentrating and stabilising conjugated oestrogens from the urine of pregnant mares on solid supports in order to obtain a suitable starting material for producing pharmaceuticals that contain the natural mixture of these conjugated oestrogens as the active component. The inventive device is characterised by its suitability for practical, decentralised concentration and stabilisation of mixtures of conjugated oestrogens (CE) contained in the urine (PMU) of pregnant mares on a solid support (= adsorbent), especially in the proximity of the stable or field, in a column or a cartridge. The adsorber columns can be filled directly at the site of urine collection with the device. As a result, it is no longer necessary to transport large quantities of urine liquid daily to a central processing point. The filling process can take place continuously over a longer period of up to several weeks, until the adsorber column or cartridge is saturated. The leftover urine that runs off remains at the site, where suitable devices for disposal are already available. Only the filled column or cartridge is transported and the transport can take place at longer intervals and take longer, e.g., up to a few weeks. The excellent stability of the CE on the adsorber ensures that there is no risk of decomposition.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif d'enrichissement et de stabilisation d'oestrogènes conjugués, issus de l'urine d'une jument gravide, sur des supports solides, pour obtenir une matière de base adaptée à la production de produits pharmaceutiques contenant le mélange naturel de ces oestrogènes conjugués comme composant actif. Le dispositif selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce qu'il convient à la concentration décentralisée pratique, notamment à proximité de la stabulation ou des pâturages, et à la stabilisation des mélanges d'oestrogènes conjugués (CE), contenus dans l'urine de juments gravides (PMU), sur un support solide (= adsorbant) dans une colonne ou une cartouche. Ainsi le chargement de la colonne d'adsorbant peut être effectué directement sur le site de collecte de l'urine, ce qui permet de supprimer le transport quotidien de grandes quantités de liquides d'urine jusqu'à un centre de traitement. Le chargement peut s'effectuer en continu sur une longue période, notamment sur plusieurs semaines, jusqu'à saturation de la colonne ou cartouche d'adsorbant. Le reste d'urine s'écoulant reste sur place où des équipements appropriés assurent son évacuation. Seule la colonne ou la cartouche chargée est transportée. Le transport peut s'effectuer à des intervalles de temps assez longs et aussi demander plus de temps, notamment plusieurs semaines. L'exceptionnelle stabilité des CE sur l'adsorbant écarte tout risque de décomposition.
