A filter cover for attachment to a register or duct terminal in HVAC applications which allows for simple enhancement of air filtration in the forced air environment. A selected filter media is dimensionally sized to correspond to the outer dimension of the register, and includes adhesive or another removable attachment which allows for its attachment along substantially all of its edges to the register. When the filter media is expended, the cover can be replaced. The method of use of the product is also outlined.
