A patient's wound healing process is accelerated by a process in which an aliquot of the patient's blood, treated extracorporeally with stressors such as ozone gas and ultraviolet radiation at slightly elevated temperatures, is reinjected into the patient. It is especially useful in surgical wound healing. The re-injection can occur before or after infliction of the wound.
