Disclosed in this specification is a method and composition for producing a coating of a poly( vinyl chloride) (PVC) resin from an acetone-based solution. The solution includes a coating facilitator with terpineol and/or tertbutyl acetate. The coating facilitator also includes a second compound with a boiling point of at least 100 °C that acts to promote the solubility of the PVC resin. Also disclosed is an acetone-based solvent system that includes an additive selected from a terpene, diacetone alcohol and t-butyl acetate.

L'invention porte sur un procédé et une composition pour la fabrication d'un revêtement d'une résine de poly(chlorure de vinyle) (PVC) à partir d'une solution à base d'acétone. La solution comprend un facilitateur d'enduction avec du terpinéol et/ou de l'acétate de tert-butyle. Le facilitateur d'enduction comprend également un second composé avec un point d'ébullition d'au moins 100°C qui sert à favoriser la solubilité de la résine de PVC. L'invention porte également sur un système solvant à base d'acétone qui comprend un additif choisi parmi un terpène, le diacétone-alcool et l'acétate de t-butyle.
