The inventive wind power engine comprises a stator provided with stator blades, a rotor which is provided with rotor blades, arranged inside the stator hollow area and is rotationally movable with respect to the stator about an axis of rotation, wherein the stator blades are positioned in such a way that an air flow coming from the outside of the stator is oriented towards the rotor and the rotor blades are used for rotationally driving said rotor about the axis of rotation by means of said oriented airflow. At least certain rotor blades have a concave-shaped profile on one face thereof.
