The present invention relates to novel soluble liquid (SL) formulations comprising A) quinclorac ammonium salts of formula (I) wherein R1, R2, R3 and R4 are independently hydrogen or optionally substituted alkyl, and B) a solvents of formula (IIa) wherein R5 is alkyl; A is alkylene or oxyalkylene; and m is 0, 1, 2 or 3; and/or a solvent of formula (IIb): HO-B-OH wherein B is a straight-chain or branched alkylene or alkyleneoxyalkylene or alkylene- oxyalkyleneoxyalkylene.
