A disposable flow-through refrigeration system includes an evaporator chamber(10) containing a refrigerant, which, during system operation, evaporates to form a vapor; an evacuated absorber chamber(30) including sorbent(32) for receiving the vapor, a heat sink material(40) in thermal contact with the sorbent(32), and a means(44) for preventing vapor flow from evaporator to absorber until operation of the refrigeration system. The system also includes a primary volume of dispensable product(55) and a product reservoir(50) in fluid communication with each other. The system includes a dispensing means(64) configured to enable controlled withdrawal of a secondary volume of product contained in the reservoir which includes a flow path(52) from the primary volume to the dispensing means(64). At least one wall of the flow path is in thermal contact with an outer surface of the evaporator chamber during operation of the refrigeration system.
L'invention concerne un système de réfrigération jetable à écoulement continu comprenant une chambre d'évaporation (10) contenant un réfrigérant, qui, lors du fonctionnement du système, permet de faire évaporer de l'eau pour former une vapeur; une chambre d'absorption évacuée (30) renfermant un sorbant (32) destinée à recevoir ladite vapeur, un matériau dissipateur de chaleur (40) en contact thermique avec le sorbant (32), et un moyen (44) permettant de bloquer le passage du flux de vapeur de l'évaporateur à l'absorbeur, avant que le système de réfrigération ne fonctionne. Ledit système comprend également un volume primaire de produit distribuable (55) et un réservoir de produit (50) en communication fluidique entre eux. Le système comprend un moyen de distribution (64) conçu pour permettre un retrait commandé d'un volume secondaire de produit contenu dans le réservoir, ledit moyen comprenant un passage d'écoulement (52) s'étendant du volume primaire au moyen de distribution (64). Au moins une paroi du passage d'écoulement est en contact thermique avec une surface extérieure de la chambre d'évaporation lors du fonctionnement du système de réfrigération.
