The invention relates to a thickened film-forming composition comprising a film-forming polymer and, as thickening agent, a polysaccharide alkyl ether composed of units comprising at least two different glycoside cycles, each unit comprising at least one hydroxyl group substituted with a saturated hydrocarbon alkyl chain. The polysaccharide alkyl ether preferably has a molecular weight of over 200,000 and is a guar gum alkyl ether having a degree of substitution of approximately 2 to 3, particularly 2.5. The composition obtained can be used in cosmetic treatment of keratin fibres, particularly the treatment and care of nails.
L'invention se rapporte à une composition filmogène épaissie comprenant un polymère filmogène et comme épaississant un alkyléther de polysaccharide formé de motifs comportant au moins deux cycles osidiques différents, chaque motif comportant au moins un groupe hydroxyle substitué par une chaîne alkyle hydrocarbonée saturée. L'alkyléther de polysaccharide a de préférence un poids moléculaire supérieur à 200 000 et est notamment un alkyléther de gomme de guar ayant un degré de substitution d'environ 2 à 3, en particulier 2,5. La composition obtenue peut être notamment utilisée dans les domaines cosmétique des matières kératiniques et est destinée plus specialement au traitement et au soin des ongles.
