A projectile shooting toy (10) comprises a body housing (20), a projectile delivery tube (110) formed with an interior of the housing and a motor driven projectile firing apparatus having a trigger (36) and projectile cannon (120) pivotally mounted to the body housing. Activation of the trigger causes the cannon to move from a stored position (122) to a deployed position (124), allowing a projectile (100) to enter an inlet (130) of the projectile cannon from the projectile delivery tube. Activation of the trigger further causes a firing ram (142) to abruptly strike the projectile and fire it from the cannon. In a preferred embodiment, the projectile shooting toy is in the form of a helicopter (12).

L'invention concerne un jouet tirant des projectiles (10), comportant un boîtier de corps (20), un tube de distribution de projectiles (110) formé avec une partie intérieure du boîtier, et un système de mise à feu de projectiles motorisé pourvu d'une détente (36) et d'un canon à projectiles (120) monté de façon pivotante sur le corps de boîtier. L'actionnement de la détente amène le canon d'une position repliée (122) vers une position déployée (124) permettant au projectile (100) d'entrer dans une ouverture d'entrée (130) du canon à projectiles, à partir du tube de distribution de projectiles.
