Ce dispositif-variateur d'intensité d'un courant électrique dans un récepteur (3) comprend: - un circuit primaire (1) comportant un pont redresseur (4), branché aux bornes (5,6) du secteur d'alimentation électrique, définissant une borne positive (7) et une borne négative (8) après redressement, bornes auxquelles sont montés en série d'une part, un interrupteur rapide I et d'autre part un circuit résonant parallèle (9), comprenant en parallèle une inductance L et un condensateur C; - un circuit secondaire (2), couplé magnétiquement au circuit primaire (1), et intégrant en série le recepteur (3) dont on désire faire varier l'intensité.
