A downhole apparatus comprises a plurality of tubing sections. Each tubing section has substantially cylindrical end portions initially of a first diameter for coupling to end portions of adjacent tubing sections. The end portions are expandable to a larger second diameter. Each tubing section also has an intermediate folded wall portions initially in a folded configuration. The intermediate folded wall portions are unfoldable to define a substantially cylindrical form of a third diameter.

L'invention concerne un appareil de fond de trou comportant plusieurs sections de tubage, chacune ayant des parties d'extrémité sensiblement cylindriques initialement d'un premier diamètre permettant de les coupler aux parties d'extrémité des sections de tubage contiguës. Les parties d'extrémité peuvent se dilater jusqu'à un deuxième diamètre plus grand. Chaque section de tubage est pourvue également d'élément de parois intermédiaires pliés initialement en configuration pliée. Les éléments de parois intermédiaires peuvent se déplier de façon à définir une forme sensiblement cylindrique d'un troisième diamètre.
