A novel storage stable crosslinkable aqueous polymeric formulation comprising an aqueous carrier; at least one polymeric ingredient having both acid-functional and acetoacetoxy functional pendant moieties; a non-polymeric polyfunctional amine having at least two amine-functional moieties; and base. The amount of base captained within the formulation is effective for inhibiting gellation, which would otherwise occur as a result of crosslinking between the acetoacetoxy functional and amine-functional moieties.
Nouvelle formulation polymère, aqueuse, réticulable et stable à la conservation comprenant un véhicule aqueux, au moins un ingrédient polymère possédant des fractions présentant à la fois une fonction acide et une fonction acétoacétoxy, un amine polyfonctionnel non polymère possédant au moins deux fractions à fonction amine et une base. La quantité de base contenue dans la formulation est efficace pour inhiber la gélification qui se produirait sans cela à cause de la réticulation entre les fractions à fonction amine et à fonction acétoacétoxy.
