A novel HIV vaccine is provided. In particular, the vaccine comprises an avirulent and non-cytolytic recombinant HIV wherein the NSS of the virus' envelope glycoprotein is replaced with a non-cytolytic signal sequence and nef gene of the virus is deleted which renders the virus avirulent.

Ce nouveau vaccin contre le virus de l'immunodéficience humaine (VIH) renferme, notamment, un VIH de recombinaison dépourvu de virulence et non cytolytique, la séquence-signal naturelle (NSS) de la glycoprotéine d'enveloppe du virus ayant été remplacée par une séquence-signal non cytolytique et le gène nef du virus ayant été délété, ce qui supprime sa virulence.
