The present disclosure provides a process for producing sucralose from a feed mixture of (a) sucralose-6-ester, such as 6-O-acyl-4,1',6'-trichloro- 4,1',6'~trideoxygalactosucrose, (b) salt including alkali metal or alkaline earth metal chloride, (c) water, and (d) other chlorinated sucrose by- products, in a reaction medium comprising a tertiary amide, wherein said process comprises deacylating, either before or after removal of the tertiary amide, the sucralose-6-ester under active cooling to produce an aqueous solution comprising sucralose, salt including alkali metal or alkaline earth metal chloride, and other chlorinated sucrose by-products. Additionally, the sucralose may be recovered from the aqueous solution, such as by extraction followed by crystallization or by extractive techniques alone.
La présente invention concerne un procédé servant à produire du sucralose à partir d'un mélange de départ constitué (a) d'un 6-ester de sucralose, tel que le 6-O-acyl-4,1',6'-trichloro-4,1',6'-tridéoxygalactosucrose, (b) d'un sel comprenant un chlorure de métal alcalin ou de métal alcalinoterreux, (c) d'eau et (d) d'autres sous-produits chlorés du sucrose, dans un milieu de réaction comprenant un amide tertiaire, ledit procédé consistant à désacyler, soit avant soit après avoir enlevé l'amide tertiaire, le 6-ester de sucralose sous une réfrigération active pour produire une solution aqueuse comprenant le sucralose, un sel comprenant un chlorure de métal alcalin ou de métal alcalinoterreux et d'autres sous-produits chlorés du sucrose. En plus, on peut récupérer le sucralose dans la solution aqueuse, par exemple par extraction suivie d'une cristallisation ou par des techniques extractives seules.
