In order to remedy the lack of wear and tear resistance of the beads (B) of a tyre of which the form ratio H/S is low, while improving the running confort, the radial casing armature (1) is anchored in each bead (B) to a rod (2) from the outside to the inside while forming a turn-over (10), said turn-over being situated in an angle .alpha. which is open axially inwardly and radially outwardly, which does not exceed 45~ and delimited by two half-straight lines OD¿1? and OD¿2? which are tangential to the circle discribed about the rod (2), the half-straight line closer to the rotation axis being parallel to said axis.

Afin de remédier au manque d'endurance des bourrelets (B) d'un pneumatique dont le rapport de forme H/S est faible, tout en améliorant confort de roulage, l'armature de carcasse (1) radiale est ancrée dans chaque bourrelet (B) à une tringle (2) en allant de l'extérieur à l'intérieur en formant un retournement (10), ledit retournement étant situé dans un angle .alpha. ouvert axialement vers l'intérieure et radialement vers l'extérieur, au plus égal à 45° et délimité par deux demi-droites OD1 et OD2 tangentes au cercle circonscrit à la tringle (2), la demi-droite la plus proche de l'axe de rotation étant parallèle audit axe.
